I can confidently say that I wouldn’t be here without Surfivor. I was completely hopeless and no longer saw a way forward in life. Surfivor changed everything, and I got my life back. And I got the change to become a dad and husband again.
Before Surfivor, I was truly desperate. I fought a lot on the streets, unable to cope with all the anger I felt inside. At Surfivor, I saw pictures of myself smiling. I had forgotten that I could enjoy life. It’s been a long process for me, but I know I can always rely on Surfivor.
I felt abandoned by my employer. And the support I received felt like an obligation, where I wasn’t understood. It’s completely different at Surfivor. You want to go there every week. And during the week, you even miss it. I will never regret signing up for Surfivor.
The relaxation I felt at Surfivor is something I’ve never experienced before. It feels amazing to be seen, heard, and understood. Nothing was expected, and everything was allowed. My service dog was wonderfully taken care of, and I could truly relax. It was incredible.
